Humans Versus Zombies

This week is the week of an intense real-life contest to the death, literally. Everyone starts out as a human except three people, who are zombies. Humans are denoted by armbands around their arm, while zombies wear then on their heads. The objective: to stay human if you are human. If you are zombie... to feed.

Everyone bought about a hundred nerf guns for this event, because if you shoot a zombie they are stalled for ten minutes and so cannot tag you and turn you into a zombie. It looks like a lot of fun, actually, but I chose not to participate because nerf guns are an expense I don't want to have, and because I don't want to be shot.
The first day of this event was yesterday, and several of the people in my dorm were turned into zombies straight away. One person posted "brains" as his status on facebook. He was the first one tagged.
This entire competition is hilarious to watch. Humans ask me for help sneaking out the back, and they run between classes to avoid getting tagged. Zombies revel in their power while also feeling the shame of being tagged so quickly and the glee at being able to tag their dorm mates. One person in my dorm hid in someone's closet for two hours in order to tag one of his friends.
Long live the humans!

Sounds like it could grow into one of those blue eyes vs brown eyes social experiments.
