The City Grave

By Spring and Maria

note: we wrote this by alternating turns choosing words. I said the first word, and Spring the second, and so on. It produced some interesting results.

The streets cobblestoned with love

Remind her dreary parent

Of her quiet childhood

Empty potholes lurked mysteriously

Under bell-shaped churches.

Her parents lower her body

Into the pothole.
