Poem Chain

A fun game to play:

Get a piece of paper (one for each person) and gather with friends. Each write the first line of a poem (that you make up) and pass it to the next person. Then they write the second line and fold the first line over so no one can see. Keep going until you decide to stop, then unfold and read the poems.

Here's one we did:

The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog
and chased down and ate a frog
then tripped over a log
fell into a black hole of
DOOOOOOM!
Da Da DAAAAAAA!
Na Na NAAAAAA!
Hey hey hey, goodbye.
Goodbye cruel world.

We also did the same for a story:
There once was a man named Kevin
who died and went to heaven.
But then the doctors resurrected him and he came back to earth. As he was leaving the hospital he ran into a tree. This tree however told him that he was Frankenstein, and was resurrected from the dead. Hearing this, Kevin understood why he was held together with stitches. Amazed, he tried to tap dance, as it was his ambition to be the first tap-dancing zombie. As he was tap dancing, a tap dancing zombie agency representative happened to be walking by. He recognized Kevin's talent and gave him a contract. Kevin became the most famous tap dancing zombie in the land.
The end

Hm... I remember these. It's always interesting what results.

Haha, the "DOOM" part made me think of of someone who enjoys the use of the term "knave" almost just as much X)

Argh, the Frankenstein stuff just relates to memories of earlier in the school year :P Gah!

Haha yes that's what I thought of too when I heard that. And we'd just finished reading Frankenstein for school, which is why Kevin wrote it in the poem. lol

XD It's so interesting how the things we learn and experience can span long distances and still bring along similar sets of memories.
