I can see him at the end of the
path dressed in a stiff cotton tuxedo and polyester
shoes that squeeze his toes.
A look back reveals a misty face and the petals
falling around me
stitch themselves into a sleeveless white dress
that seems to smell of summer.
I marvel at the unmade memory
wonder aloud which one of us will mark the path
as my cousin rolls her eyes.

Hahaha, I see you walking down this sidewalk watching this guy form himself into a memory among the buildings and greens. Flowery dress all professional-like, yep. *nods decisively* The last line makes me think of Spring (or is it Sahara now? XD).
